Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience
Training: Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
- With supervisory-level experience
- Experience in public sector or technology promotion is an advance.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and analytics (e.g., social media, email campaigns, website management)
- Knowledgeable in event organization and stakeholder engagement
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing and promotional activities that support the dissemination and commercialization of DOST-TAPI-assisted technologies.
- Supervise, coach, and monitor a team of marketing and communications personnel;
- Oversee daily operations, task assignments, and workflow within the division;
- Ensure timely completion of activities and adherence to quality and government standards;
- Facilitate coordination with other DOST-TAPI divisions and external partners;
- Prepare regular accomplishment reports, plans, and evaluations
- Develop and implement marketing plans for DOST-TAPI technologies, programs, and services;
- Coordinate and manage technology promotion events such as fairs, exhibits, and forums;
- Handle production and distribution of promotional materials (brochures, press releases, videos, social media content);
- Manage the Institute’s digital presence – website, newsletters, and social media accounts;
- Conduct market analysis and monitor stakeholder engagement metrics to guide strategic improvements;
- Establish and maintain partnerships with industry, academe, and other government agencies to promote technology transfer and utilization;
- Ensure proper use of DOST-TAPI branding and compliance with communication protocols; and
- Monitor marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
